Sometimes hope feels like excitement, anticipation, and deep contentment. And other times hope can seem like a pinprick of light, barely visible through a heavy midnight.
The lyrics of “Beyond the Blue” by Josh Garrels beautifully capture how hopefulness can buoy the soul in every season. As I’ve recently engaged in some journaling practices that have helped me recover my bearings on that north star that is hope, I see how our attention and our experience of hope is tightly intertwined1.
So lift your voice just one more time

My hope as you listen to this month’s show is that these songs of hope and the meditations they spark in your heart would be a light in your world, spilling over into our world. Because we desperately need little lights shining everywhere.
