Welcome back to Acoustic Blend! Our family is currently on a little road trip (before the arrival of baby #2) and this felt like a good time to dust off a favorite covers playlist. Think of it as a fresh mixtape for your next road trip.
One thing I love about a good cover is its ability to get people singing! Scholarship for Young Songwriters
In other news, the application deadline for the annual Shirley Martin Scholarship for Young Songwriters is fast approaching! Applications are being accepted until April 2nd, and are open to songwriters age 14-19 in 14 different Indiana counties. There is a $400 cash prize, and all entries will receive feedback on their original song. Check samisong.com for more details!
